GroupWise Shutdown Reminder
Access to GroupWise will no longer be available after Oct. 15, 2014. This includes access to mail, calendar, address books, and archives. Because of licensing constraints, we will not be able to use GroupWise long-term and there will be no way to access anything in GroupWise beyond October 15.
 
If you are accessing GroupWise regularly to get information that is not available via Outlook, contact the IT Services Help Desk (481-6030) immediately.
South Campus Drive Detours
As of Thursday, October 2, sections along South Campus Drive will be detoured throughout campus due to the extension of South Campus Drive. Detour signs will be posted along the alternate routes.
 
White Drive adjacent to Parking Garage 1 will be changed from a one-way drive to a two-way drive. Please call the Physical Plant at 481-6832 with any questions or concerns. View campus map
Institutional Review Board Updates
New guidance documents, policy changes, checklists, and Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) certification requirements are now posted on the Purdue Institutional Review Board (IRB) website.
 
"Navigating the IRB Review Process," formerly known as "Nuts & Bolts," is now online. The five modules can be found on the IRB Tutorials page. Questions and/or comments can be directed to the IRB office at 765-494-5942 or irb@purdue.edu.
USAP Town Hall Meetings
If you attended the recent University Strategic Alignment Process (USAP) town hall meeting, please take a moment to complete a short survey.
 
The next meeting has been scheduled for Wednesday, October 22, at noon in the Science Building, Room 185. The topic will be accreditation.

IPFW Mental Health Day
The 24th annual IPFW Mental Health Day will be Thursday, October 9, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Walb Student Union. This year's theme is "Life Worth Living---- Things Are Looking Up!" The event will be held during National Depression and Mental Health Screening Month, a national outreach initiative designed to educate people about depression and other mental health disorders.
 
IPFW Mental Health Day is sponsored by IPFW/Parkview Student Assistance Program, the Office of the Dean of Students, IPFW Center for Healthy Living: Campus Clinic and Wellness Programs, Active Minds, Peer Educator Program, and IPSGA. Celebrate 50 Years of IPFW at the Mastodon Roast
You and your family are invited to join the IPFW Alumni Association in celebrating 50 years of IPFW at the 16th Annual Mastodon Roast! Enjoy a hog roast and catch up with old friends while kids enjoy face painting, a jump-house, and meet Don the Mastodon, all at the beautiful Steel Dynamics Keith E. Busse IPFW Alumni Center, Tuesday, October 7.

Admission is $10 per adult; children under 10 get in free. A cash bar will be available. Five dollars of each ticket will support the IPFW Annual Fund.  R.S.V.P.
