Printer Maintenance Agreements for Fiscal Year 2015
The time to purchase, renew, or revise printer maintenance agreements is approaching. A message will be sent to departments with an existing printer maintenance agreement before the end of May. If your department has a new printer and you're interested in a printer maintenance agreement for next fiscal year, please contact Pam Thompson at thompsop@ipfw.edu.
A free cleaning was included in the printer maintenance agreements your department purchased for fiscal year 2013 --14. If you have not taken advantage of that cleaning or don't remember if your printer was cleaned, email Dick Kaminski at dkaminski@iccbpi.com to schedule it. ICC Business Products will schedule cleanings by building. Questions on printer maintenance agreements should be directed to Pam Thompson in Purchasing. |
IT Security----Don't Click an Unknown Link
Last week we were all advised against replying to email requests for usernames and passwords. It's equally important not to click links in unsolicited email messages. If you receive a random message asking you to click a link, don't do it!
If you think the message might be legitimate, manually go to that organization's website instead of clicking a link in an email. If the message came from an address you don't recognize or it looks suspicious, delete it or forward it to the IT Services Help Desk, helpdesk@ipfw.edu. |
