Summer Construction Alerts
Three buildings will undergo repair or renovation this summer. Please contact Project Management at 481-6832 with any questions or concerns. Thanks in advance for your patience!

Walb Student Union
Construction activity for the sewer line is scheduled for Monday, May 12, through July 1. Interior dust barriers at the northwest entrance (ground level) will prevent those doors from being used. The northwest stairs from the first floor to the ground level will also be closed, except for emergency exit. Exterior site work is scheduled to start May 19. Please avoid areas with barricades and caution tape.

Helmke Library
Foundation repair is scheduled to start on Monday, May 12, and will continue through the end of September. The main entrance will remain open, with temporary restrictions on door use throughout the project. Activities will include excavation of multiple areas around the library, including the pedestrian walkway between the library and Liberal Arts. Detours and construction barricades will be installed to ensure safety while construction is underway.

Liberal Arts Building
Elevator renovation is scheduled to begin Monday, May 12, and will continue through the middle of July. The elevator will be completely shut down from May 12 through May 15. After May 15, anyone who cannot navigate the stairways will need to request transport by knocking on the elevator doors and the contractors will manually move the elevator from floor to floor.
PERF Retirement Meetings
A representative from Public Employees' Retirement Fund (PERF) will be at IPFW Monday, May 12, to conduct retirement meetings from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. and 2 to 3 p.m. The sessions will be held in the Human Resources Training Room (Kettler Hall, Room G06).
