Bill Nye, scientist, inventor, TV host, and cast member of the new season of ABC TV's Dancing with the Stars has canceled his appearance as IPFW's first Omnibus Lecturer for the 2013 season. Nye cited the short time span between his scheduled appearance at IPFW Thursday, September 12, and the premiere of Dancing with the Stars, Monday, September 16, as the reason for the cancellation.
