New Campus Card System Going Live
IPFW's new Mastodon Card system will go live the week of May 13. This new system powered by Blackboard Transact software will allow many options. The system will be slowly expanded over time to allow you to use the Mastodon Card for electronic door access, online deposits and statements, at vendors on and off campus, and more. IPFW Warsaw Center to Close
When IPFW opened its Warsaw Center in 2003, there was a need for classrooms so students could take their classes either through closed circuit television or from a teacher in the room with them. Learning Management System Surveys
Currently there are two surveys posted on the MyBlackboard page. These are being conducted by a working group chartered by ACITAS, the IPFW Senate committee for academic computing. The feedback and information collected through this survey will be used to help inform, shape, and guide the direction the campus will take with its Learning Management System over the next two to three years. The committee recognizes that your time is valuable and appreciates you taking time to complete these surveys, which will be available through May 15.

Cardboard Regatta Coming to RiverFest
 The IPFW Alumni Association is bringing a new event to RiverFest 2013 on June 22: the IPFW Cardboard Regatta presented by Kelly Box & Packaging. The challenge is to design, build, and race a corrugated cardboard boat on a course on the St. Joseph River. If you're not sure how to build a cardboard boat, the Alumni Association and the Department of Engineering are offering a "How to Build a Cardboard Boat" workshop Monday, May 13, from 7 to 8 p.m. at the IPFW Alumni Center. Turn the TinCaps Blue
Due to the Cardboard Regatta, the IPFW Alumni Night with the TinCaps has been moved to Thursday, May 23, at 6 p.m. Help cheer on the Fort Wayne TinCaps and enjoy a picnic dinner at the Parkview Field Appleseed Picnic Terrace Area, an IPFW alumni gift, and Thirsty Thursday benefits. The evening is also a fundraiser for breast cancer research, presented by Vera Bradley Foundation. Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for children 7 and under. Order your tickets online
