University Policy Update
The Executive Policy Review Group (EPRG) took action on two new system-wide policies at its March meeting.
- Grievances by Postdoctoral Researchers, Graduate Student Personnel, Clinical Residents and Clinical Interns (VI.D.2): This new policy provides a process for resolving grievances by individuals with unique relationships with the University.
- Vehicle Safety Inspections (IV.A.7): Outlines the requirements for annual inspections of University-owned vehicles and inspections of newly purchased vehicles. Supersedes Business Office Memorandum No. 169.
In addition, a revised policy on Delegation of the President's Authority (V.B.5) was approved by the president and is effective as of March 22. Complete text of these policies ...

Dental Laboratory Technology Program Continues Accreditation

The two-year Dental Laboratory Technology program at IPFW is continuing its streak of accreditation by the American Dental Association's Commission on Dental Accreditation. The program, which is the only one of its kind in Indiana and one of only 19 fully accredited programs in the United States, has maintained full accreditation since it began in 1972.

Intern Initiates Book Drive to Benefit Elementary School Students
The Department of English and Linguistics has announced a community partnership to organize a "Read to Succeed Book Drive" service project to benefit the students of Washington Elementary School in Fort Wayne. Leah Thompson, an intern in the Department of English and Linguistics, spearheaded this service project under the direction of Associate Professor and intern mentor Suzanne Rumsey.
