Inside IPFW Special Edition
Campus Computers Will Receive Automatic Java Update

In response to the alert from Homeland Security regarding serious vulnerability in Java 7, IT Services is taking the following emergency action. Starting today (Tuesday, January 22), Java will be automatically updated on all campus computers managed by IT Services.


Due to the number of computers needing the patch, this update will be applied to large groups of computers over the course of the week. The update will trigger shortly after logging in and may take 5 to 25 minutes to complete. Do not open any other programs while the update installs.
