Volunteers Help Maintain Tumwater Trails
During Tumwater Parks & Recreation's annual National Trails Day event, community members worked to clear brush and trail debris and hauled wood chips to use as surface material along a new trail segment at Tumwater Hill Park. Volunteers also removed invasive Scotch broom and blackberries along the trail entrance. That same day, another group cleaned up litter along the trails at Pioneer Park. Thank you to these volunteers for their hard work helping to keep City trails in great shape.
