Greetings!
If you've been looking for a leadership position and are passionate about sustainable building, you're in luck! WGBA has now started the election process for the 2014 Board of Directors and is looking for nomination candidates. It's a stimulating time to be a WGBA member and a great moment to step into a leadership role. As a current Board member and supporter of WGBA, I ask that you consider serving on the Wisconsin Green Building Alliance Board of Directors.
On behalf of the WGBA Governance and Nominations Committee, it is my pleasure to announce the call for nominees to serve on the 2014 WGBA Board of Directors. The election timeline, nomination criteria, and board responsibilities are detailed in our WGBA Board of Directors Election Packet.
If you are interested in serving or nominating a fellow member, please complete a board of director's nomination interest form at http://wgba.org/electionform. Submit your interest before November 22, 2013.
Thank you for your consideration and we welcome your nominations!
Warm regards,
Paul Poblocki

| Two Thumbs Up for the New Additions to the WGBA Website | |
Some big changes have come to the WGBA website! The most noticeable is the brand spankin' new volunteer section called "Get Involved!" Now new volunteers can sign up online, reference important resources, find out the top 10 reasons to volunteer with WGBA, and more. Check it out here: http://wgba.org/getinvolved.
Another change is to the Member Committees pages. WGBA has many committees that members can get involved with and help WGBA push its mission forward. Now, you can learn about each committee, who is currently serving, and what they have going on. Coming soon will be a list of their regularly scheduled meetings. You can find them under "About Us". Check it out here: http://wgba.org/membercommittees.
Finally, we've updated the Board of Directors pages. In fact, you can now submit your interest in running for election to the BOD any time of the year! Soon to come are a list of all the 2014 meetings and past meeting minutes. So stay tuned and check it out here: http://wgba.org/wgbaboard.
