Where we learn matters. Green Apple Day of Service, on September 28th helps all of us put that into action. WGBA would like to encourage all of our members to reach out to their K-12 schools throughout the state to help plan Green Apple Day of Service projects. You, our members are a great embodiment of sustainability knowledge. We also know that you are a great resource to all of our area schools. Here is an opportunity to make those connections! We'd like to share our members' Green Apple Day of Service projects at the SE2 Conference. Get involved with your area schools, plan a project, and share your photos with us! Project Ideas: - Energy audits with students
- Build a garden or plant fruit trees
- Install bike racks and do a ride to school
- Refresh classrooms with low VOC paint and carpet
- Host an electronics recycling event for the school and neighborhood

Interested in volunteering to help with our 10th Annual SE2 Conference? Join our terrific group of volunteers and earn reduced rates to attend the conference! Volunteers who put in a minimum of 6 hours of their time will have their registration refunded by 50%. Those who put in 12 hours will be refunded 100%. Space is limited.
