Dear Friends, As many of you who participated know, we had an excellent Leadership Retreat on April 26th at the Schlitz Audubon. Open to our entire volunteer network, Board and staff rolled out the process for accomplishing our mission and listened to the goals and strategies created by our nine committees towards this work. The mission of WGBA is not possible without our volunteer network of members working in all parts of the state to advance sustainable building practices and awareness. Link to photos of the retreat is here. Another great volunteer opportunity to advance our mission nationally is through the USGBC. We are your USGBC connection and they are looking for your help now to advance their 2013 Chapter Priorities. There are 12 committee liaison opportunities to engage in the areas of LEED and Performance, State and Local Advocacy, Membership, Green Schools, and Community Engagement. The Chapter liaison will take part in meetings, develop strategies and leadership skills, and communicate with USGBC and WGBA.
