November 2, 2012
Dearest Friends and Colleagues,
I am thrilled to announce that USGBC has awarded not one, but TWO, Wisconsin green building experts the prestigious LEED Fellow credential. On October 18, 2012 the U.S. Green Building Council named Kimberly Hosken of Johnson Controls and Theresa Lehman of Miron Construction to the 2012 class of LEED Fellows. The LEED Fellow Program is the green building industry's most prestigious professional designation. The LEED Fellow designation recognizes exceptional contributions to green building and significant professional achievement within the rapidly growing community of LEED Professionals.
Hosken and Lehman are among forty-three of the world's most distinguished green building professionals to be selected as LEED Fellows through a peer nomination and portfolio review process. Hosken's LEED AP-NC and EB O&M credentials, 15 years of green building experience, and extensive portfolio including such exemplary projects as Miller Park and Guiyang International Convention Center comprise a few of her outstanding qualifications.
Lehman's LEED AP-BD+C and ID+C credentials, 12 years of green building experience and extensive portfolio, including such exemplary projects as the nation's first Platinum LEED certified public school, the Lake Mills Middle School renovation and expansion project, comprise a few of her outstanding qualifications.
Kim and Theresa will be recognized with the rest of the 2012 LEED Fellow class at the Greenbuild International Conference and Expo in San Francisco in November. Kimberly Hosken is a member of the Board of Directors of WGBA and Theresa Lehman is a member of the WGBA Green Schools Committee and Advocacy Committee. For more information on the LEED Fellow program, please click here.
Keep up the great work Wisconsin! |
