Laurianne Fiorentino Opening

Edgewood, October 10th, 2015 - The Second Saturday Community CoffeeHouse offers up another great night of family entertainment this month with Laurianne Fiorentino opening up for Richard Martin.

Boulevard Lane is an acoustic/eclectic duo performing their interpretations of classic tunes and originals. The focus is on great songs, tight harmonies, and connecting with an audience.

Angela   Andazola   is a singer/songwriter and Albuquerque native who has spent years performing with bands in New Mexico and California.  She's   been singing and composing since she was five, and she took up saxaphone in middle school where she learned how to read music. She began singing with different country band's in Albuquerque NM, playing at all of the main venues. She studied voice at a Music Arts Conservatory before moving to California. She taught herself to play guitar and started a band in Palm Springs by the name of Borderline . She began to play professionally in California where she resided and played around the Palm Springs area playing with the band Borderline for over a decade playing and recording her original tunes. She also worked as a studio vocalist there.    She also loves rock n roll, blues, folk and jazz. Some of her influences include, Billy Holiday, Pat Benatar, Robert Johnson, Heart, Emmy Lou Harris and as well as Leonard Cohen and Benny Goodman.

Bill Royal is the former lead guitarist for Strange Brew and Blues Royale, and is an award winning radio producer and voice talent.  Bill has been playing, writing, and recording music since the age of 14. Starting with his original inspirations in Classic Rock--Led Zeppelin, Beatles, Rush, Queen, Yes, and too many more to mention--he played in many Southern California bands including Works and Reckless Momentum. He's also worked with studio musicians including Zappa alumnus Chad Wackerman among others. Over the years, he's broadened his musical abilities to include Blues, Jazz, Fusion, Folk, Country, and whatever presents a new challenge.

Cassette is a freelance musician and an introverted artist hailing from ABQ, NM. When she is not avoiding the majority of the human race, she is playing music and being sarcastic.

Her original music has sweet melodies and an eerie side that sets her apart from other acoustic artists.

Join us for coffee or tea, treats, and a wholesome family night in a listening room environment where new and seasoned performers can offer up their songs and stories to an attentive, all-ages audience. The House opens at 6 pm, music begins at 6:30.

FREE!  Love Offerings will be accepted.

Held the second Saturday of each month, the events consist of an Opening Act and a Headliner except for two Open Mics per year.  The CoffeeHouse hosts both professional and amateur musicians and performers of all ages.  The response has been so positive that the event is already booked well into 2016.

Each month's event is sponsored by a local business, family, or individual.  This month no one has stepped up yet to sponsor the night for a $25 donation.

The CoffeeHouse is held at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation (the building formerly owned by the Unity Spiritual Center) at 1 Deanna Lane in Edgewood.  It is located just off Dinkle Road, 1.5 miles east of Mountain Valley Road, and 2.5 miles west of Highway 344.
