New Year's Resolutions for Rainbow Village
While losing weight, staying fit and saving money are all great resolutions for individuals, things are a little different at Rainbow Village.

Rather than losing weight, we focus on staying efficient and lean. Rather than getting bodies in shape, we concentrate on transparency and highlighting our "in shape financials," including a true victory of remaining debt-free. And rather than focusing solely on saving money, we focus on making every dollar count.

Latest Update on The Community Center
Phase 2 of the "Building Strong Communities . . . One Family at a Time" Campaign

We are anxiously waiting to break ground on The Community Center. As an update, this is a $2.9 million building project that will house a 60-child daycare center, a Media Center, Kitchen and Dining Hall, Adult and Children/Youth Life Skills classrooms, and a chapel. The Rainbow Village Board of Directors voted in August to continue to be judicious and conservative with our budget, and as we did with Phase 1, hold off breaking ground until all funds are raised. Currently, we only have $476,000 left to raise before we break the shovels out. Please click here to read more about the campaign and contact Sandra Cathy at 770-497-1888 x13 or scathy@rainbowvillage.org for investment opportunities.

Vote for Rainbow Village!
Only 3 days left to vote for Rainbow Village. Log on to www.milner.com/jumpstart and select Rainbow Village in the category of 15 employees or less. If Rainbow Village wins, we receive $20,000 in free technology. Please vote today, Wednesday and Thursday and encourage your friends and co-workers to as well. You can also vote from your other electronic devices.

For all that you do, we would like to say thank you!

Your support of Rainbow Village children and families is invaluable!

By volunteering, educating, and speaking to others in the community, you are spreading the word about our mission!

We are beginning a new year which means new opportunities to continue breaking the cycles of homelessness, poverty and domestic violence.

With your support, we look forward to a successful 2013.

Christmas Update
With more than 200 friends, volunteers, and families in attendance, Rainbow Village families celebrated Christmas in style. Santa visited, lots of great food was enjoyed and everyone enjoyed opening gifts. Special thanks to Cisco, Medical Electronic Attachment, Corus 360 and Young Men's Service League for all their hard work in making this event happen. We also recognized Pat Corkum as the Outstanding Administrative Volunteer of the Year. Her unfailing willingness to help keep things running smoothly for us is invaluable!
