This Week

Hello Parents!

What a beautiful weekend we had to enjoy with our friends and family.  My son, Trey, turned eight over the weekend and it was nice to spend time with family from out of town to celebrate his special day. It seems like it was only yesterday when we were pushing him on his bicycle and helping him learn how to ride. Boy... does time fly!

Speaking of time flying, we are already a month or so out from Thanksgiving and there are many things that have to happen before that time.  This week is testing week for the eighth grade. Click here for schedule. Please be sure to have your Titan get plenty of rest and have a good breakfast each morning.  It will help him/her stay focused to do their best. We appreciate your support with helping your Titan to keep up!
Due to testing, there will be no Clubs this week.  We will resume our normal schedule next week.

Have a great week!

Title One Tips
Please join us for our October Parent Workshop on Wednesday, October 28th at 8:00 am in the Media Center.  Our two fabulous Language Arts teachers, Mrs. Okiyama and Ms. Schram, will teach parents how to write using the current writing standards.  Parents you will not want to miss this workshop, because the rigors of writing have changed since we were in school.  No longer is the assignment, "What I did I do during Summer Vacation?"  Come out to learn about the strategies teachers use to ensure our children write to the best of their ability.  For questions, email Lisa O'Hanlon Cowles at ohanlon@fultonschools.org
**Coffee is on EPMS!!**
