I am not sure if you have heard the news, but there is a significant shortage of substitute teachers in Fulton County at this time. As a result, we have several teacher absences per day without a substitute teacher, sometimes as many as 6 or 7 in one day. This means that our teachers are giving up their valuable planning time so that they can cover classes and take care of students.  

Can you help? Would you be willing to serve as a substitute, if we would only call you on the days when we have a shortage? Training is limited to one day, and the process is fairly simple. If just 10-15 parents would agree to support us with this endeavor, it could make a world of difference to our students and certainly to our teachers. Willing to help out?
