• We are proud to report that our Science Olympiad team did quite well at the Chattahoochee High School Invitational on November 16th, taking 5th place overall.
• Hopefully you noticed our lovely new flowerbeds in front of the school. Thank you so much to our School Beautification Team, especially the families who made donations to make the event possible. 
• Our students enjoyed a beautiful trip in Washington DC last week and came back full of fun stories and memories to carry with them.   

• As you know, we have our Local School Governance Council results from the election. Thank you so much to all of you who voted. Please remember that we will hold a run-off on December 4th and 5th to determine whether Mrs. O'Hare or Mrs. Robinson will serve in the one year position. We will utilize the same process to vote for this one position, so keep your Home Access Center Information ready, and look for reminders closer to the date.

• Life Touch will be at EPMS on Friday December 6th to take buddy pictures.  Any student wishing to take a picture with a friend or friends may stop by the media center during lunch/advisement. All photos must be pre-paid at the time the picture is taken.  There is one package, it contains 1 5x7 and 4 wallets and the cost is $13. In order to have their picture taken, each student in the picture must pay. Flyers will be distributed on or before December 1st. 
• Please do not forget to complete your Georgia Parent Survey at http://admin.doe.k12.ga.us/gadoe/sla/gaparents.nsf/Survey.xsp.
• As you prepare for the winter holiday, please remember that we have school-wide exams December 18 - 20 and that students should be present for the assessments. If you have an exception and need your child to miss school, please be sure to contact me directly to seek an excused absence. Students will be required to take final exams after the winter holiday as make ups and will not be allowed to do so before.
