Meet Peck Bloom Associate Attorney Kathryn B. McArdle  
   

 

Kathryn McArdle concentrates in trust and probate litigation, guardianship litigation and administration, estate administration, will contests, fiduciary defense litigation, and elder law.

 

Kathryn McArdle earned her Juris Doctor from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, where she was named to the Dean's List each semester. Prior to joining Peck Bloom, LLC as an attorney, Kathryn worked at the firm as a law clerk in the litigation department during her final year of law school. Before law school, Kathryn graduated cum laude from Illinois Wesleyan University with a Bachelor's degree in biology.

Kenneth M. Bloom Presented at a Seminar on Premarital Agreements in Estate Planning and Family Law

presented at the  Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education's (IICLE) seminar "Premarital Agreements in Estate Planning and Family Law" on July 29, 2013.    

   

Ken Bloom was joined by two additional attorneys on a panel to discuss estate planning issues. This portion of the session provided the estate planning perspective in drafting premarital agreements. Issues covered included: marital property vs. the taxable estate; tax consequences and considerations in estate planning; ensuring estate planning documents are in line with the parties wishes when a new spouse in involved; and a discussion of specific example clauses.
