Brandon Peck Elected as Chair of Education and Advocacy for the Alzheimer's Association, Greater Illinois Chapter's Junior Board

Peck Bloom, LLC is proud to announce that Associate Brandon E. Peck was elected Chair of Education and Advocacy for the Alzheimer's Association, Greater Illinois Chapter's Junior Board Executive Committee. Brandon has been on the Junior Board since 2011, and will serve as Chair of the Education and Advocacy Committee for a one-year term.

 

The Greater Illinois Chapter Junior Board Executive Committee is comprised of young adults that participate in various events throughout the year raising money for Alzheimer's disease research, and increasing awareness and providing support for young adults who have a loved one affected by Alzheimer's disease.

 

"As an elder law attorney, many of my clients or their family members have dementia or Alzheimer's disease," said Brandon E. Peck. "It's part of my job to help my clients and their families live a healthy and prosperous life. Working with the Alzheimer's Association to help raise awareness and research of the disease helps to accomplish these goals."

 

Brandon is an associate attorney with Peck Bloom, LLC (www.peckbloom.com). In addition to representing individuals and families, Brandon represents financial and medical institutions. He lectures frequently in the areas of trust and estate litigation, guardianships, special needs and estate planning before his colleagues and other professionals, including at The Chicago Bar Association, National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, as well as numerous hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities and community organizations.  

 

Brandon currently serves as a Director of the Chicago Bar Association's (CBA) Young Lawyers Section, is a past co-chair of the CBA Young Lawyers section Estate Planning Committee, a member of the First Municipal Advisory Committee, the Young Lawyers Division of the Illinois State Bar Association and American Bar Association.

Auxiliary Board of Northwestern Memorial Hospital Young Professionals Event June 21
 Partner Cameron DeGuerre is a member of The Auxiliary Board of Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
 
The Board, along with Chicago Magazine, is hosting Summer Lovin', on Friday, June 21, from 7:00 - 10:30 pm at the Museum of Contemporary Art.  

 

The evening will be filled with delicious food from leading Chicago restaurants, cocktails, outstanding entertainment, and access to the MCA's eclectic exhibits. This event will attract about 1,000 young professionals. 

All proceeds from the event will support innovative bone marrow transplant research to improve cancer care at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
