February already, it can't be?! Time is flying by and there is much to be excited about. Real estate is finally seeing steady appreciation, woo hoo! The gurus say 20% over last year, not enough yet- but certainly moving in the right direction.
The valley is steeping with activity. We are back to three lights to get through an intersection. I don't know about you-but I am grateful for the buzz of activity-even if I have to fight the traffic. The bigger picture tells me that traffic equals recovery.
What else? It rained! I love the rain. I know I work for a roofing company- of course I love the rain. But it is more than that- it just feels so nourishing. As a roofer it is a love/hate relationship. A sudden influx also comes with its own challenges. It is why we urge you to get your roof inspected before it rains. Save yourself the money and headache, detect the potential leak before it actually leaks. We are clever that way- and inspections are free. So, if you don't recall the last time your roof was inspected-or that you even have a roof-then it is probably time, before the next rain. Just saying.
As always, enjoy every moment, it's the moments that count.

The Valentine State
President Taft was ready to make Arizona a state on February 12, 1912 but it was Lincoln's birthday. The next day, the 13th, was considered bad luck so they waited until the following day. That's how Arizona became known as the "Valentine State."
Did you know?
~Arizona's disparate climate can yield both the highest temperature across the nation and the lowest temperature across the nation in the same day.
~Mount Lemmon, in the Santa Catalina Mountains, is the southernmost ski resort in the United States.
~Located on Arizona's western border, Parker Dam is the deepest dam in the world at 320 feet.
~South Mountain Park/Preserve in Phoenix is the largest municipal park in the U.S.
~The world's largest solar telescope is located at Kitt Peak National Observatory in Sells, Arizona.
~Do you know what the 5 "Cs" of Arizona are? |
