Dear CIM students and supporters,

This November, the month of Thanksgiving, I would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to each one of you for your support of the Center for Irish Music.  We are a thriving little music school thanks to YOU!

Some of you are volunteers, donors, or students.  Some of you are longtime traditional music fans, musicians, or supporters from other Irish organizations.  Some of you come from out of town to visit us for the Minnesota Irish Music Weekend or igse CIM, A Gaela Event.  Many of you are all of these things combined.  Whatever your role, please know that you play an integral part in our mission of "handing down the tradition".

Thursday, November 12th is Give to the Max Day and CIM is launching a campaign to raise $10,000 for our Annual Fund.  In two days, we will announce our complete list of Challenge Fund donors.  On the day itself, we will release the Challenge Fund matching grants as the day goes by and we will need your help to spread the word!

Thanks for spreading the word via social media and see you at the Junction for the lunchtime session next Thursday!

CIM Executive Director

Wreath Fundraiser for CIM Students

The CIM is raising funds to get as many of our students as possible to Cincinnati this coming May for the Midwest Fleadh, our regional Irish music competition. One of the largest expenses for this trip is the bus ride there. If you buy one of the beautiful wreaths or other decorations from Lynch Creek Farm, they will donate 20% of your purchase to our Bus Fund. It gets shipped directly to you in the time frame you choose. And the greenery smells sooooo good! Thank you in advance for your contribution.
