Calling all Volunteers for CIM booth at Irish Fair
We are happy once again to be hosting an information booth at the Irish Fair of MN, the weekend of August 9-11th. We humbly request YOUR HELP to staff the booth, since each year the fair's hours get longer and longer! This is a wonderful way to share your enthusiasm for CIM with passers-by at the fair. We are located in the large merchandise tent with other vendors. This is a GREAT location for visibility and for recruiting new students.
We know our CIM community is busy during Irish Fair weekend. Please check your performance and dance schedules and then sign up for as many shifts as you comfortably can. We will provide water, snacks, and chairs for our volunteers...we appreciate you so much!

You are personally invited to the CIM Open House on August 25th from 4-6pm. Spread the word and join us for tunes, beverages, and a chat. Registration will be open and instructors will be available to answer questions you might have about lessons and classes.
Finally, this year we will be holding an informational parent/student meeting on September 8th at 2pm to talk about practice techniques, how to help your child (or yourself) experience success and satisfaction along his or her musical journey, plus information on music competitions (including the Midwest Fleadh Cheoil taking place on May 9-11, 2014 in St. Louis).
I look forward to seeing you at Irish Fair, the Open House on August 25th, or some other time soon.

Best wishes to our students competing at the Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2013
 | CIM students & families at the Midwest Fleadh Cheoil in St. Louis in May |
Three of our very talented students and their families are headed to Ireland this week to compete at the Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2013 in Derry. These students qualified to compete at this fleadh by placing 1st or 2nd in their respective instrument categories in the Midwest Fleadh Cheoil in St. Louis, MO in May.
We look forward to sharing photos from the competition and stories of our families' adventures in next month's newsletter. Until then, you can find out all about the Fleadh at their website.
Best of luck, competitors!
