Check out this image of 28 year old standardbred Gracie (left) and 24 year old thoroughbred Paige. These two beautiful animals were adopted from Heaven Can Wait Equine Rescue in Lindsay, Ontario by first time horse owners Lynn & Steve Davey. They were both skin and bones when rescued a few years ago and have flourished in their Hockley Road home.

Gracie and Paige are a big part of the experience at the Hockley Glen Christmas Tree Farm located at 307509 Hockley Road in Mono (519 942-1868). Smiling children are often seen patting them and feeding them carrots and these gentle horses just love the attention!

Photo submissions should be emailed to Vicki@thehillsofheadwaters.com and include the photograph, your contact information and a brief description of the location or event.
