CROSS COUNTRY IS COMING!
Thurs., 10/15 or (Rain date) Fri., 10/16 @ Larz Anderson
Cross country is a district-wide meet where students compete in a 1-mile race against other students of the same grade and gender at Larz Anderson. It is open to all students in grades 5-8.
The only requirements are that the student 1) sign up in the gym, 2) bring in a signed permission slip by Fri., 10/9 and 3) have prepared physically for the meet. To show us a student has prepared, they can either come to at least 2 of the 6 practices offered OR fill out a running log that is signed by parents that show at least 4 different ways they have exercised outside of school. Cross country packets that include the permission slip are available in the gym. PIERCE FAMILY DIRECTORY FINALLY UPDATED!
The students whose parents/guardians did not opt out of participating in the secure online Pierce Family Directory have been included in the directory. Class parents have been added and the teacher and staff list is being updated. Now that the student names have been arranged into 2015/2016 classes, here's what you need to do:
  • New families need to request access electronically. Once your child's name and class have been verified, access will be granted. Once logged in, please add any family contact information that you would like to be included in the directory.

  • For families who have already used the directory, we urge you to log on and verify that all the information is correct, and that all of your children are associated with your logon. This is especially important for families who have a new kindergartner joining siblings at Pierce.
Instructions for requesting access and logging into the directory are on the Pierce website.  If you have any questions, please contact Beth Ng or Jennifer Hunt at PierceFamilyDirectory@gmail.com.
