PTO DOLLARS AT WORK IN MARCH
Our PTO dollars and efforts went far in March. Several events brought families out from their long winter naps: 3-5 Math Games, 7th Grade Breakfast, March Madness, and Movie Night. The Math League and Girls' Basketball both wrapped up successful seasons with hard-won celebrations. We've ordered 100 new Piercewear t-shirts designed by two Pierce students (these may be ordered this spring). We continue to invest in the online directory to keep the Pierce community connected. Please sign up if you haven't already: http://www.pierceschoolbrookline.org/instructions-for-directory.html. We are touched by the number of gifts received for the Al Fortune Scholars Fund from former students and teachers who have fond memories of Pierce and Principal Al's "big" personality. Amazon.com continues to be an important revenue source for the school. Before you shop at Amazon.com, please remember to first follow the link to Amazon from the Pierce School homepage. No sign up necessary, you don't pay anything extra, and a percentage goes to Pierce: http://www.pierceschoolbrookline.org/. And Picture Day raised $3,200 for Pierce. That's something to smile about : )
