THE ANNUAL APPEAL IS OVER - WE DID IT!
Thanks to you, we not only met our goal, we EXCEEDED it at $52,000! In addition, we achieved our highest participation percentage ever at 53.5% - the most successful appeal in Pierce's history! THANK YOU to all of the families who so generously contributed. A special thank you goes out to the fundraising team led by PTO Fundraising Chair, Toby Raybould, and comprising Beth Waisburg, Jean Sandler, Kimberly Rowell, and Snezana Pejic. And we also thank Stacey Zelbow, PTO Treasurer, for her careful accounting of funds! This team worked tirelessly on behalf of our school and we sincerely thank them for all of their tremendous efforts. CONGRATULATIONS!

SECURITY ALERT!
We are finding some of our entry/exit doors propped open before, during and after school. It is imperative that we maintain the measures in place to keep our school secure. Please do not prop open any doors leading to the outside. If you see any of these doors propped open, please close them. Thank you for helping us to keep our school safe.

PARENTS: NEW FORM REFLECTS STANDARDS-BASED REPORTING
At parent/teacher conferences, forms provide parents of students in Grades 1-5 with a record of their child's performance over the course of the year. This fall marks the start of the transition to a revised form reflecting a shift to standards-based reporting. The new form serves the same purpose, but provides more specific information about students' learning with respect to the content area benchmarks described in Brookline Learning Expectations.
