Greetings!

This is a love note of sorts, in honor of Valentine's Day and my dear client Ben Ettleman, who passed away somewhat suddenly a few weeks ago.

As I listened to tributes at his funeral, it was clear that this was a man who treated everyone he came into contact with as a dear friend. (In fact, he was in the process of helping me with an historical video for the JCC just before he passed.) That was Ben - always wanting to help, and always wanting to hear from you.

In honor of him, I'm reprising his video clip this month, one of the funnier "how we met stories" I've been lucky enough to film.

And today's article is a great memory project that's easy to do and doesn't involve video. It was inspired by the book his daughter created for him called, "Ben, Remember When?"

In the spirit of Ben, I hope you find the time to tell the people you love how much they mean to you this Valentine's Day.

Warmly,

I love how things were so different years ago, when THIS line worked as a way to date women! Watch Ben in this video for some wonderful dating tips.

 Raving Fan

The video you created is beyond sensational! Your talent for opening up the doors to my parents' hearts was quite impressive. Everyone during the Birthday Dinner was captivated during the entire showing. And my two sons - who are both in the TV "biz" and produce their own shows - were blown away!

I know that we will be viewing the video over and over and it is such a cherished way to continue our family legacy. Thank you so very much for your compassion and sensitivity - and for sharing your talent with us.

A Memory Project for Valentine's Day

I love creating family history videos and think they are the ultimate way to share and remember someone's story. But sometimes, video isn't always the ideal solution. Sometimes, you need to do something different.  Read more...
