Chapter 24 Discusses Minimum Wage, Other Legislative Priorities with State Lawmaker

This year, California voters will be tasked with answering an important question-should California's minimum wage be increased to $15 an hour? Debate over increasing the minimum wage has been going on for years, but this will be the first time that voters will be able to weigh in, after a proposed ballot initiative received enough signatures to qualify for the November ballot.

ASCCA Advocacy Fund and ASC Educational Foundation Benefit From Generous Donations at ASCCA Team Weekend
The Automotive Services Council of California (ASCCA) today announced that ASCCA Chapter 24 and the California Automotive Teachers Association (CAT) have both made generous donations, totaling $1,600 dollars, to ASCCA's Advocacy Fund and the ASC Educational Foundation during ASCCA's Team Weekend meeting in Sacramento.

ASCEF Scholarships Now Available
ASCEF scholarships for qualified high school seniors are now available.
To date, ASCEF has awarded 127 scholarships, totalling $89,000. Each scholarship ranges from $1,000 to $2,000.
