BAR Announces Public Hearing on Smog Check Regulations
The Bureau of Automotive Repair has decided to move forward with updating smog check licensing, disciplinary guidelines, and probationary registration/license, as described in the Informative Digest.
The BAR is holding a public hearing for individuals who would like to voice their support or opposition to the proposed regulations. Those who are unable to attend the hearing can submit a written statement.

The NASTF Fall 2015 General Meeting on Wednesday, November 4th and the NASTF fall meeting of the board of directors on Thursday, November 5th provided both insight and direction. Both events coincided with the 2015 AAPEX trade show at the Sands Expo Center in Las Vegas.

For the first time in years, the automotive service technology program at American River College (ARC) has more jobs available for its graduates than it has students trained to take those jobs.

Winter Tech Week provides ETI Members with the opportunity for dialogue with the OEM's and to receive the necessary information to provide the needed tools and equipment.
