Debate Over Bill to Halve Gas Use in California

The Clean Energy and Pollution Reduction Act of 2015, SB 350, which would force petroleum use in California cars and trucks to be cut in half by 2030, is snaking through the California State Assembly toward a vote, prompting acrimonious debate between supporters and opponents.

AAPEX to Host NASTF Fall 2015 General Meeting

AAPEX will host the National Automotive Service Task Force (NASTF) Fall 2015 General Meeting that will feature a compelling session on "SAE J2534-1 v5.00: The Benefits for OEMs, Technicians and Tool Makers." The NASTF meeting will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 4, from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. (PST), in Casanova Room 504 at the Venetian in Las Vegas, with the J2534 session starting at 2:15 p.m.
