ASCCA What You Need To KnowMay 4, 2015
Go for the Gold in the ASCCA 2015 Digital Olympics!

In the coming weeks ASCCA together with AutoVitals will launch an educational program aimed at helping ASCCA shops gain significant boosts in technician and service advisor productivity while improving communication to the motorist with dealership grade professional inspection results. This program is available free to all ASCCA members and will demonstrate exactly how digital inspections will substantially improve their bottom line. Live webinars, interactive training, onsite visits and chapter meetings will be used for teams to gain education and earn points. Sign up for the pre-Olympic heats to get a leg up on the competition.

Ford Recall of 389,585 Cars Expanded by Another 156,000 Cars
Ford Motor Co. is expanding its recent recall of late-model Ford Fiestas, Fusions and Lincoln MKZ sedans to include 156,000 more vehicles. The fix that is needed concerns faulty door latches that can potentially unlatch while the car is being driven. Ford says a part called the pawl spring tab can break, which results in doors that can't be latched.
