NorCal Leads SoCal 130-104 in Countertop Display Contest

There's only one day left to get the most points for your contest entries -- March 31 is the deadline to get 3 points for contest entries. Starting April 1, entries will get 2 points. Right now NorCal leads 130-104. 67 shops have participated, 38 of them in NorCal and 29 in SoCal.

BAR: New Hybrid Information Regarding Smog Checks

Hybrid vehicle owners seeking a Smog Check should be provided an inspection. All hybrid Smog Checks must be performed using the BAR-OIS. Implementation details and information on inspection procedures is available on BAR's website at  www.smogcheck.ca.gov under Industry, Licensees, Industry Resources, Smog Check, Hybrid Vehicles.

California Automotive Teachers (CAT) Bi-annual Conference to be Held April 24-25 in San Bruno

Skyline College in San Bruno is hosting the Spring CAT 2015 Conference held April 24-25. Eleven hours of training are planned to meet NATEF requirements. On Friday and Saturday, there will be technical seminars, exhibitors, and door prizes. RSVP by April 13, 2015.
