NorCal Leads SoCal 109-73 in Countertop Display Contest

NorCal has been on fire this past week and now leads 109-73 in ASCCA's countertop display contest. 52 shops have sent in photos (as of Friday, 5 PM); 32 from NorCal and  20 from SoCal. Chapter 42 and Chapter 16 have each sent in 8 entries, followed by Chapter 20 with 6 entries. All of those are in NorCal!  SoCal's leaders are Chapter 24 with 5 entries, and Chapter 5 with 4 entries. March is the last month in which you can get 3 points for an entry. Send your photo, or request for a display, to Phil at: pboerner@amgroup.us.

Comments Sought on BAR's Draft Brake Inspection Manual

Tracy Renee sent out a message to ASCCA's Rep-Talk on March 18, asking for feedback on the Draft Brake Inspection Manual. ASCCA will send all comments to the BAR on April 1. Below is a link to the draft manual and a copy of Greg Kelly's comments, which are the only comments received so far.

California Automotive Teachers (CAT) Bi-annual Conference to be Held April 24-25 in San Bruno

Skyline College in San Bruno is hosting the Spring CAT 2015 Conference held April 24-25. Eleven hours of training are planned to meet NATEF requirements. On Friday and Saturday, there will be technical seminars, exhibitors, and door prizes. RSVP by April 13, 2015.
