Mamalahoa Byway Thankful for
Project Grant

Young Brothers, LTD has awarded $1,000 to our friends at the Pulama ia Kona Heritage Preservation Council. This generous grant is for continued enhancements to the Mamalahoa Kona Heritage Corridor - specifically to develop and install story boards on historic buildings along the byway.

Kau Scenic Byway CMP Available for Public Review

Copies of the Corridor Management Plan draft for the Kau Scenic Byway - the Slopes of Mauna Loa are now available for public comment at the Naalehu and Pahala libraries as well as the
Ocean View Commerce Association office. And check the Hawaii Scenic Byway website for a downloadable version soon.
