College Office launched their new blog where students can get tips about the college process and how to present their best authentic self to colleges.
BC ALUMS PURSUE INTERNATIONAL ENDEAVORS
Many BC alums pursue international endeavors after graduating college. Rebecca Glanzer '11 (left photo), who attended Columbia University, has flown to the Negev to join the Israeli Defense Force and Alia Carponter-Walker '12 (right photo), who is a graduate of Skidmore College, is teaching underprivileged children in Madrid.
SENIOR PEER LEADERS GO ON 4-DAY RETREAT
Our 20 senior peer leaders spent four days at the annual
Peer Leadership retreat at Camp Sloane developing the skills they will need to act as role models and peer mentors to groups of ninth graders throughout the coming school year. They'll meet with freshmen on a weekly basis to help ease the transition to high school by providing a forum where students of different ages and backgrounds can build friendships based not just on respectful recognition of differences but on an appreciation for their common interests and goals.
