Twitter page, I called to congratulate her and ask her how Metabolic Jumpstart worked...
What had you tried before Metabolic Jumpstart?
I had already started my weight loss journey with a home-delivered meal program, but I'd hit a plateau and it was getting quite boring.
What made you sign up for Metabolic Jumpstart?
I decided that if I was going to keep going, I'd need to learn how to eat properly.
Joshua Ferguson from
Synchronized Health & Fitness at Mosman recommended MJ to me and I thought this makes sense to combine it with my fitness training.
What changes did you notice in your first 4 weeks?
I lost weight and measurements, which was great. Even better, I had more energy even when eating less food - that motivated me to stick to it even more.
And what results have you achieved now?
I didn't check my weight as my clothes sizes have dropped a couple, so that's enough evidence for me. I'm fitter and have so much more energy to get through my days. I'm not going back.
What did you like about Metabolic Jumpstart?
How simple it is to follow. As long as I hit my targets, I knew I'm going well. Also, the flexibility to mix things up with new foods.
Are there any foods that you still tend to overeat?
Cheese is my challenge. But with 2 Dairy Exchanges I know I can eat it, as long as its in my plan. I like that I don't have to give it up.
How do you stay on target now, 12 months along?
I pretty much know my Targets and Exchanges and can make adjustments easily. Planning is important and also getting new food ideas from the MJ Club (MJ +) weekly eNews. You've got to keep monitoring and learning.
Best advice for anyone thinking about losing weight?
Make a plan and commit for the long term. Don't go on a diet... make a permanent switch and get support along the way.
