Maria Elettra Elena Anna Marconi was born in Italy seven years before the
death of her father, Guglielmo Marconi on July 20, 1937. Her mother, Maria Cristina, dedicated her life to her husband's memory. Elettra and her mother have traveled the globe by invitation in order to commemorate and celebrate the genius of Marconi. Elettra acquired her title when she married Prince Giovanelli. She has one son born in 1967 named Guglielmo. Maria Cristina lived in Rome with her daughter until her death in 1994.

In 1999, Elettra published a book that her mother wrote called "Marconi My Beloved"
