A traditional card party is when you invite folks to send their wishes to the person of honor via a greeting card instead of attending a physical party.

As we have moved into a more viral world, it has expanded to include online messages as well.

Surely not as much fun as wearing silly hats, singing Happy Birthday off key and eating cake and ice cream...
or as special as seeing each other in person (that's the bummer part!)
but all in all, they still feel special and know their family and friends have them in mind and wish them well.

Isn't that what it's all about anyway..
making them feel special?

Knowing that is is nearly impossible to hold a traditional birthday party for Bess, as we are all spread around the country these days, we realized a surprise card party would the way to go!

We want to make sure she has an extra special and memorable birthday to celebrate this milestone year.
