Greetings!

Hello Members hope you are all well

Summer is officially here, and we can now wear our white pants and shoes. (OK, so you'll never see me in white pants, but it's alright if you want to wear them!) The kiddies for the most part are out of school so be extra careful when you're out and about just in case one of the them puts his/her IPAD down and actually goes outside to do something. Kids playing outside is a rare sight so get a photo for proof. Paul

REAL ESTATE UPDATE:

Half The Year Is Over!!!!!

It's hard to believe that it's June and almost half the year is gone. Where did the time go? Are you on track with your goals? Or way behind? Or worse, just bored with the whole thing?

I feel your pain if you are bored. We are all human and we get tired just slogging thru life and doing what we do every day. But I've been working on some big goals and that has kept me super motivated. I also have been reading up on successful people with larger than life goals and how those goals keep them on track.

So with that in mind we are going to explore the "BHAG" idea

"BIG HAIRY AUDATIOUS GOAL"

Do you have a " BHAG"? They can be intimidating, maybe even downright scary, but also way more motivating than just a 'regular' goal. I have been working on three at the same time: one you are familiar with and two other new ones. So here they are.

1)I have been following a new way of eating for a little over a year now and have lost 115 pounds with 15 more pounds to go. This was a super BHAG and one I needed to accomplish. By telling my close friends and family of my goals, their support made it easier but still a challenge. This is the type of goal that fits the description of a BHAG.

2)I went back to school to get my Property & Casualty and Life & Health Insurance licenses so I can offer clients more options. The Property & Casualty class was 200 hundred hours and 3 days a week. I traveled 67 miles each way 3 times a week for 5 months. But I have finished and have passed all the state licensing requirements. I am now looking to open an office that will be a full-line insurance and consulting firm. Only decision left is whether to find a few equity partners to help with startup costs.

3)And the last one of my BIG 3 BHAGS is I am training to run a marathon. In November it will be a half marathon ( 13.1 miles), then in January I will run a full marathon ( 26.2). I am working with a running coach because the goal is to finish in one piece and injury free.

My 3 BHAGS are perfect for me but what about you? What's your BHAG? Think: what do you want to accomplish? What would you like to do? Now is the time. I promise once you set your BHAG and you put it into action you will not be bored. I look forward every day to getting a little closer to finishing this BHAG and then working on the next one. Paul

P.S. Give me a call if you want to talk about your BHAG.

Have a great month. Paul

Good luck and let me know how you are doing.
