Hope you are all doing well. The month of May flowers, Mother's Day and Memorial Day weekend fun is here, and that means people are already thinking of summer. I'm hearing some people saying sales have slowed down as expected at this time of year. On the other hand I have people telling me that they are having a great year and sales are up! Go figure: sounds like a MIND SET issue. Set your mind on the right path and go out and sell something. Paul

REAL ESTATE UPDATE:

  

  

It's starting to get hot here in Florida. Some days are already in the mid 90's, the snow birds have gone home and school will be out for the summer in less than 3 weeks. Now is the time to make sure you have all your properties in perfect order; buyers are still looking but now have plenty of choices including builder's models. In fact new home purchases in most areas are out pacing re-sales by big margins. You have lots of homes competing against you so look at your home from a buyer's eyes. How does your house stack up to others in the area? Take the time, be prepared, make your home stand out.

If you live in a cold weather state your selling season is just starting. Do what it takes to get your homes sold fast: the last thing you want is to be on the market come the end of the season and to have to discount, or worse, have to pay to keep the heat on one more winter.

Hello Members! Doing good on my end. Summer is here and I don't like the heat much; hanging out by the A/C vent and fan most of the day. But wanted to let you know about a post card mailer we did this past month. Mailed out 100 postcards got 4 listing and 2 buyers. If you're not doing direct mail you should be. No surprise - if you fudge the numbers long enough people start believing them. Put enough on the government rolls and people lose any motivation to solve their own problems. Tell enough people that it's someone else's fault and they will readily agree.
