The Nutcracker Leaps into Segerstrom

 Like a plate full of sugarplums, an irresistible holiday treat returns to Segerstrom Center for the Arts December 9-18 as American Ballet Theatre presents The Nutcracker.
Alexei Ratmansky's sumptuous production showcases a top-notch cast of more than 100 performers, sets and costumes by the Lion King's Tony-winning designer Richard Hudson, and Tchaikovsky's beloved score performed live by Pacific Symphony.
This is the second year that Southern California has gotten to enjoy the acclaimed dance company, instead of New York audiences. Critics from coast to coast have marveled about this Nutcracker; the NY Times raves it is "Magical" and the LA Times exclaims "the most astounding and beautiful you'll ever see!"
