Four Paws U will take away the mystery and help you build a trusting bond with your pet through better communication and humane, reward-based training.

A credentialed trainer and behavior consultant will teach you how dogs interpret your body language (that is sometimes giving them the wrong message), how to redirect inappropriate behavior before it happens, and how to be proactive in setting your dog up for success.

These Rescued Dogs Need Help

Recently German Shepherd Rescue of Orange County rescued 24 dogs from the Devore Shelter that had been confiscated from a hoarder. All of them were covered with dirt, fecal matter, sticks and debris. Their fur was heavily matted and their nails had never been trimmed.

The dogs need vet evaluations as well as vaccinations, deworming medication and spay/neutering. Training is also needed for all of them as they are not leash trained and most of them have never even seen a flight of stairs before. Surprisingly, their personalities are calm and pleasant. They get along with other dogs and have coped with the change in their circumstances remarkably well.

GSROC needs donations to fund the care these dogs. All donations, regardless of the amount are greatly appreciated. If you are interested in adopting or fostering any of these dogs, please complete an online application at www.gsroc.org.
