3 THINGS TO DO | December 13-19, 2012

text
1. Santa Stalking
What with supervising all those elves, grooming his reindeer and sitting for portraits at the mall, Santa's a busy guy this time of year. But not too busy to join in some family fun! Just try to keep up with him at the Renegade Santa 5/10K and Kids' Fun Run Saturday morning in Irvine. And after a few afternoon meet-and-greets, he's set to cap off the 66th Naples Boat Parade, cruising through the canals of Long Beach starting at 6 p.m.

2. Santa Stuffing
The jolly old elf has to eat, right? Hop on a train in Fillmore Friday night to dig into a ham-and-turkey dinner with St. Nick, who will stop by your table to hear wish lists and pose for pictures. The next day, dig in to pancakes with the man in red in your choice of Seal Beach or Huntington Beach, with music, bounce houses, crafts and more. Or meet him later for free milk and cookies at U.S. Toy in Garden Grove.

3. Santa by Satellite
Whip out your phone and let your Santa tracking go high-tech. At Fashion Island in Newport Beach you can skip the Santa line by calling or texting ahead. And on Christmas Eve, the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) will use radar, satellites and Santa cams to track the big guy's progress. Visit noradsanta.org, call (877) HI NORAD, follow them on Twitter, send an email or download the NORAD app for instant updates.

The Art of Dance with a Powerful Message
Dance 4 Joy Ministries - Kids Try It For Free!

Dance 4 Joy Ministries takes pride in sharing their faith through dance and movement.

The group is led by Director Christy Hernandez, a professional tap dancer, choreographer and producer who holds a degree in Creative Arts from San jose State University and a teaching credential in Elementary Education from Cal State Fullerton.

Under her direction, students have the opportunity to worship, pray and learn scripture while being taught the art of dance from professional instructors, using praise music that honors the Lord Jesus Christ.

Ongoing classes train dancers, ages 3 and up, in ballet, lyrical, creative expression, jazz, tap, hip-hop and theater, from beginning to advanced levels. The dancers perform for other Christian dance concerts, festivals, convalescent homes, local churches, children's program, and Bible studies.

New classes are forming, and your first class is free! Come experience the difference of Dance 4 Joy ministries.
