1. Play It Cool
Brrrrrrrr, there's a frost blowing in from CHILL, an icy extravaganza set to open this Saturday at The Queen Mary in Long Beach. Through January 6, you can tour the gigantic Ice Kingdom made entirely from two million pounds of ice and twinkling lights. And don't miss the ice tubing, ice skating and Holiday Village filled with Christmas trees, a Candy Lane, gingerbread decorating stations, carolers and Old St. Nick himself. Buy tickets here. Map it.
2. Cool Your Heels
Keep your coat on and head to one of three other outdoor ice skating rinks, now open for the season. Grab your little one's hand and try out your figure eights at Irvine Spectrum through February 18, Pershing Square in Downtown L.A. through January 13 or Santa Monica through January 21.

Or enjoy the ice from the sidelines at " Dare to Dream" the new Disney on Ice spectacular touching down at Staples Center December 12-16, Honda Center December 18-23, Citizens Arena December 26-30 and Long Beach Arena January 3-6.
