Brau Brothers Presents Beer Pairing Dinner to Benefit United Way of Southwest Minnesota

A Brau Brothers Beer Pairing Dinner will be held to benefit the United Way of Southwest Minnesota (UWSWMN) on Friday, January 30, 2015 beginning at 6:00 PM.  The event will be held at Brau Brothers Brewing Company at 910 East Main Street, Marshall in the Brew House. 

 

The event will include five courses each featuring a different Brau Brothers' beer and food items that complement each other.  Dustin Brau will talk about the traits of each beer that is served and answer questions from the participants about the brewing process.

 

There is limited seating and advance tickets of $56 per person can be purchased at the United Way of Southwest Minnesota office or online at www.UnitedWaySWMN.org. Ticket price includes a special commemorative glass. The United Way is located in the RLC Office Building at 109 S. 5th Street, Suite 300, Marshall, MN 56258. 

 

The funds will be used to support local programs and services in this area that focus on the basic building blocks of education, income (financial stability), health, safety and well-being, and hunger.  Funds will also help underwrite the Imagination Library literacy building program and other school readiness initiatives. UWSWMN works to improve the lives of people living in the following school districts in MN: Canby, Clarkfield, Dawson/Boyd, Echo, Fulda, Hendricks, Ivanhoe, Lake Benton, Lakeview, Lynd, Marshall, Milroy, Minneota, Murray County Central, Russell-Tyler-Ruthton, Tracy Area, Westbrook-Walnut Grove and Yellow Medicine East (public, private and charter).
