United Way of Southwest Minnesota Campaign
United Way of Southwest Minnesota (UWSWMN) announces that $448,474.14 in donations and pledges have been recorded to date during the annual fund-raising campaign. This equates to 80.1% of the $560,000 campaign goal. Over the last 10 years, more than $4 million has been re-invested in our region through contributions to your local United Way. In 2014-15, UWSWMN is helping more than 39,000 people receive necessary services through more than 30 quality community partner programs and 12 internal initiatives.
UWSWMN unites people and resources to improve lives in the area with a focus on education, income (financial stability), health, safety & well-being, and hunger-the building blocks for a good quality of life. Your donation to UWSWMN will go to work to improve the lives of people living in the following school districts in MN: Canby, Clarkfield, Dawson/Boyd, Echo, Fulda, Hendricks, Ivanhoe, Lake Benton, Lakeview, Lynd, Marshall, Milroy, Minneota, Murray County Central, Russell-Tyler-Ruthton, Tracy Area, Westbrook-Walnut Grove and Yellow Medicine East (public, private and charter).
