Please join us at our annual progress report to the community. The event is open to the public and we encourage you to attend.  This is a celebration of the past year's accomplishments and a peek into what is ahead. It also serves as an opportunity to learn more about our organization and how you can get involved.

Join us on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 from 3:45PM-5:00PM at the AmericInn in Marshall. We'll highlight the United Way of Southwest Minnesota's Top Twelve moments and achievements of 2013 and share our vision for the future. You will not want to miss this event. Complete with a build your own sundae bar; you'll also have the opportunity to hear from two of our community partners; Junior Achievement of Lyon County and the Yellow Medicine County Neighbors United Food Shelf. Representatives from these programs will share how United Way grant dollars have made an impact for the people they serve and what results they are seeing as a result.  The event will round out with the announcement of some very special individual awards, including Volunteer of the Year, Campaign Ambassador of the Year, and the LIVE UNITED award. Two corporate awards will be given to outstanding organizations; the Spirit of Caring Award and the Rising Star Award. The United Way Awards of Excellence will recognize employee groups who have worked hard to share the message of the good work and the results occurring in our area. Through their efforts a significant amount of support is generated.

Thank you again to everyone who has generously invested in the future of this area financially or through the gift of volunteer hours. We appreciate it greatly. Because of all of you, working together for the common good, Southwest Minnesota is great place to call home. We look forward to having you join us on March 18th to learn more about our Top Twelve and plans for the future.
