The Atlanta Audubon Society has a jam packed bird walk schedule for April and May. Spring is the best time to see and hear beautiful neotropical migrants at local parks and birding hot spots. Field trips are free and non-members are always welcome.

Red-shouldered Hawks are the most familiar bird of prey in our area, especially in wooded neighborhoods and wetland forests. They are very vocal, noisily calling

kee-ahh! and are often mimicked by Blue Jays.
