Hummzinger Fancy

Ruby-throated Hummingbirds
are already hitting the Gulf Coast on their return from Mexico and Belize. We can expect them in the Atlanta area as early as March 21st, with northbound numbers peaking in April, so make sure your hummingbird feeders are up and filled with fresh nectar.

Follow their migration at www.hummingbirds.net

or, we also encourage you to submit your sightings to eBird.

eBird uses the same system as the

Great Backyard Bird Count

to collect, store, and display data any time, all the time, where it is conveniently available to scientists and birders. It's a great way to document your first of the season birds - like Ruby-throats - and document when they leave in the fall, or keep a yard or trip lists.

Purple Martin

Purple Martins (above), Tree Swallows and Barn Swallows are some of our earliest migrants. It's nice to see these beneficial bug eaters back for the warm months.

In the past weeks, we've had lots of reports of Sandhill Cranes flying north. Flocks can number in the hundreds and are truly an awe-inspiring sight! Share what you are seeing on our Facebook page!

Congratulations to our first winner in the Brome Come In To Win Contest. Ann Beatty, who shops at our Roswell store, won a Squirrel Buster Standard Feeder last week! Come in and get your secret code...you could be next!

Well, it's not officially Spring, but in our stores it sure looks like it! New items are arriving daily, from funky signs and wall art, to yummy candles from Swan Creek, decorative bird feeders and houses to kinetic art spinners, whimsical garden stakes and much more to welcome Spring into your home and garden.

You may notice we've done some rearranging to make room for all the new stuff. Check out our boutique areas for purses, scarves, pillows, jewelry, lotions and soaps, kitchen towels and unique nature-themed trinkets and baubles. Who would have thought that a "bird store" would have so many cool gifts and curios? You may never have to shop the mall again!

But don't worry - we still have the best selection of bird houses, feeders, hardware, wind chimes and, of course, Cole's birdseed and suet, as well as experienced staff to give you the best advice for feeding and attracting wild birds.

Birds are already starting to build nests, so now is the time to put up new nesting boxes and mealworm feeders to entice Bluebirds and other songbirds to nest and raise their young in your yard. Don't forget the birdbaths! Birds need food, water and shelter to survive and thrive.
We welcome you to come in and check out all our new merchandise. Use the coupon below to take
15% off your entire purchase.

While we can't honor the coupon above on Brome brand bird feeders, you still have plenty of time to Come In To Win one! The final drawings will take place March 29th. Ask any sales associate for details and get your secret code!
Coupon expires 3/10/2014
