Teresa Nunes is a professor at Touro college. She has both a doctorate in Comparative Literature and a masters in Sociology & Anthropology from Purdue. As an animal rights activist for more than 2 decades, she has done extensive research into the subject of Feminism & Animal Rights.

Teresa recently moved back to Houston from Brazil and has lived all over the world. She was active with Houston Animal Rights Team (H.A.R.T.) in the earlier years and now serves as a VSOP board of director. She's also the mother of two vegan children.
